Marketing
Marketing is responsible for adversiting events and programs hosted by the Wharton Undergraduate Giving Society. Committee members will be responsible for managing the club's social media accounts and producing a monthly newsletter for the Wharton community.
Membership
The Membership committee is responsible to maintaining a member database, planning social events for active WUGS participants, and arranging recruitment events throughout the academic year.
University Relations
The University Relations branch is in charge of recruiting, organizing, and planning speaker events for Wharton Undergraduate Giving Society. Our objective is to provide real world examples of Givers in business who have seen success in their lives professionally and personally. Our goals are to host at least 2 speaker events per semester in addition to coordinating with Membership to arrange information sessions and collaborating with Alumni Relations to host MBA events.
Alumni Relations
The Alumni Relations branch is responsible for outreach to members of the Wharton alumni community. Committee members may work with operations to plan social gatherings or academic events with alumni who have made their name through generous acts to others in a business setting.
Finance
Finance is concerned with acquiring and managing funding for the club. Tasks include creating a budget, tracking expenses, and applying for funding.
Operations
Operations' roles are to help manage the logistics of the club and to ensure that events run smoothly. Committee members will be responsible for activities including maintaining the calendar, standardizing templates for club presentations and documents, and assisting in handling club events.
